Passengers or crew are forbidden to carry dangerous goods either as or in carry-on baggage, checked baggage or on their person unless the dangerous goods are for personal use only and are permitted in accordance with ICAO Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air, Table 8-1/IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, Table 2.3.A.
Airlines may be more restrictive than the regulation therefore, it is necessary to be aware of the measures which particular airline takes and comply with them.
