Dangerous goods by air

Dangerous goods are carried regularly and routinely by air all over the world. In order to ensure that they do not endanger an aircraft and its occupants, there are established international standards that each state, under the provisions of the Chicago Convention, is required to introduce into national legislation. This system ensures governmental control over the carriage of dangerous goods by air and gives worldwide harmonisation of safety standards.
